BSNL chooses Hyderabad to roll out Wi-Fi hotspots

For the first time in the country, BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has chosen Hyderabad to roll out its Wi-Fi services in public places. Existing subscribersThe existing postpaid and prepaid BSNL mobile subscribers can use the service and they will be charged on their number.
Physical vouchers to avail the Wi-Fi services will also be made available at various outlets in the city. In the coming few days, existing broadband customers can login with their username and password in the hotspot zone to get higher speeds. At six locations in the city, internet speeds of 4G plus will be on offer to mobile users of various network operators from Monday.

Users can avail the initial 100 mb data free of cost per day at Maitrivanam in Ameerpet, Kamineni Hospitals in LB Nagar and Koti, District Treasury Office, BSNL office in Abids and one such location in Gachibowli. Existing subscribers The existing postpaid and prepaid BSNL mobile subscribers can use the service and they will be charged on their number.

For walk-in customers of other networks, amount should be recharged by logging on to the Wi-Fi portal to start using the service. The plan ranges from ?10 for 100 mb data usage for a one day validity to ?599 for 10 gb data for 30 days validity. Physical vouchers to avail the Wi-Fi services will also be made available at various outlets in the city.
