BSNL has introduced two new rate cutters of Rs.19 and Rs.8 for all circles across India. These BSNL STV 19
and STV 8 rate cutters provide voice calls at discounted rates. The
state-run firm has confirmed that these plans will be effective from September 4, 2017.
These newly introduced BSNL STV 19 recharge plan offers all BSNL on-net voice calls at 15 paise/min. On the other hand, off-net voice calls will be charged at 35 paise/min.
Even BSNL STV 8 recharge plan offers the same benefits, but the validity of these plans differs. The Rs.19 plan is valid for 90 days, while the Rs.8 plan is valid for 30 days. Having said that, both these STV19 and STV 8 recharge plans are applicable for BSNL prepaid subscribers across India.

Also, BSNL is planning to offer Rs.429 plan which provide 1GB data per day and unlimited voice calls for 90 days. It is believed that these new BSNL tariff plans
will take on the Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. The BSNL STV 429 offer
the same 1GB data per day and unlimited voice calls which the rivals
are offering at Rs.399. Though the price is a bit on higher end, it is
justifiable for a state-run firm.
These
BSNL Rs.429 plan will be applicable for all the users across India.
However, BSNL is yet to announce the plan officially in coming days.
Yet, the newly launched BSNL STV 19 and STV 8 will
offer the best of the service with the least possible rate for voice
calls. It will be more interesting to know how this BSNL STV 19 plan performs and Rs.429 plan take over rivals.
