The hotspots will ensure our customers can avail faster mobile Internet at affordable rates. We also demanded 60,000 access points to provide customers with better services and the BSNL board has approved 35,000 access points,” stated M.K. Seth, chief general manager, BSNL, Assam circle.
He further added that BSNL has taken up different projects and initiatives to develop the state digitally. “We are collaborating with various stakeholders, including the state government. This will help to develop e-education, e-health, e-agriculture and e-transport services. We are trying to provide different digital services to people residing in remote areas.”
