New Delhi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) has doubled data usage limits of its Rs549 data pack to 10 GB from 5 GB data with validity of 30 days, a 100% increase in data benefits to subscribers.
It also announced the launch of unlimited 3G Data pack without any speed restrictions for all prepaid mobile customers for just Rs 1099 with validity of 30 days, claiming that it is a first of its kind
occurrence in the telecom industry.
BSNL also launched a cost effective pack of Rs. 156, which offers 2 GB data for 10 days.
These offers will be available by August 25.
R.K.Mittal, Director of the BSNL Board, said that the company hopes to serve data customers by massively reducing data tariff and by introducing unlimited data packs.
"The offer is unique and the sole purpose is to enable every section of the society with high speed Internet at affordable prices. Last year, BSNL had also facilitated the customer by offering 80%
cheaper voice tariff," he said.
