Ever since Ambani has welcomed a
healthy competition against its Reliance Jio’s data offers, other telcos
have accepted the challenge and have enhanced their game as well.
Such enhancements include BSNL BBG Combo Plan, which is launched at Rs. 1,119 per month. The plan offers customers to make unlimited 24hr local and STD out going calls and use unlimited data at a speed of ‘Flat 2Mbps’. Users can also avail discounts by opting for payment options for two or three years with this new plan.
If a customer wishes to opt for a static IP address, they have to pay Rs 2000/year.
However, we recommend users who are installing Broadband to their homes for first time, they should go with BSNL 249 Plan. This plan is only for new connections, under which users will get benefit of 2GB data at a speed of 2Mbps and after crossing the data limit users will be able to surf unlimited Internet at a truncated speed of 1Mbps.
Besides, the calling benefits include unlimited local and STD outgoing calls on Sundays and on other days it will be unlimited free from 9pm to 7am. The catch here is users will be charged Rs. 249 per month for first month only, after which the same benefits will be provided at a rate of Rs. 499.
