data and free voice calls like Reliance Jio. The new Rs 399 plan comes
with 84GB of data for 84 days and also offers free unlimited local and
STD calling. Users will get 1GB data for a day.
Call drop rate comes down by 8% in one year: Manoj Sinha
The call drop rate has reduced by 8 per cent in the last one year,
Communications Minister Manoj Sinha said here on Friday, adding that the
government aimed to bring it down further by the year-end.
After a review meeting with telecom operators, the minister told
reporters that the rate had come down by 8 per cent since the last
review meeting held a year ago. Sinha also said that there was
“substantial improvement” in customer satisfaction as well.
Have set a target to reduce call drop by 8%: Telecom Minister
Call drop rate in the country has come down by 8 per cent in the last
one year and the target is to reduce it further by similar margin by
this year-end, Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha said .
“Call drop has reduced by 8 per cent so far since we held last review meet. We have set a target to reduce it by another 8 per cent by the end of this year,” Sinha told reporters after the meeting on call drop issue.
